I got these goggles to help protect my eyes when I'm using my red light therapy mask. They are comfortable and seem to fit well around my eye sockets but no matter how much I adjust them, I still get a tiny bit of light coming in from the outside. It's not too much, just a very slight amount of peripheral light coming through but it still makes me nervous that my eyes aren't fully protected. These seem to keep out about 90% of the light though and there is a tight but comfortable seal almost all the way around except for that small slit where light penetrates. That small percentage of light can enter from the top or bottom outer corners of the goggles depending on how you adjust them on your face.
The polycarbonate lenses feel strong and durable. They allow me to still see the room in front of me when I'm wearing the goggles although it's very, very dark and so I wouldn't recommend trying to walk around much once you put them on. The goggles feel smooth and lightweight on my face and don't irritate my skin. The nose bridge is nice and narrow and doesn't get in the way of my red light mask which is a huge plus. The string that's used to secure the goggles around your head is easily adjustable and is super lightweight. It easily stretches wide enough for my boyfriend to wear it but then goes back down small enough to accommodate my petite sized head, as well. Overall, these seem to be a quality pair of red light protective goggles but I'm taking off one star because of the small amount of outside light that they let in, peripherally.
